// BlockChain represents the canonical chain given a database with a genesis
// block. The Blockchain manages chain imports, reverts, chain reorganisations.
//
// Importing blocks in to the block chain happens according to the set of rules
// defined by the two stage Validator. Processing of blocks is done using the
// Processor which processes the included transaction. The validation of the state
// is done in the second part of the Validator. Failing results in aborting of
// the import.
//
// The BlockChain also helps in returning blocks from **any** chain included
// in the database as well as blocks that represents the canonical chain. It's
// important to note that GetBlock can return any block and does not need to be
// included in the canonical one where as GetBlockByNumber always represents the
// canonical chain.

core, internal, eth, miner, les: Take VM config from BlockChain (#17955)
Until this commit, when sending an RPC request that called `NewEVM`, a blank `vm.Config`
would be taken so as to set some options, based on the default configuration. If some extra
configuration switches were passed to the blockchain, those would be ignored.
This PR adds a function to get the config from the blockchain, and this is what is now used
for RPC calls.
Some subsequent changes need to be made, see https://github.com/ethereum/go-ethereum/pull/17955#pullrequestreview-182237244
for the details of the discussion.
